Rob Keeley

Rob Keeley studied with Oliver Knussen at the Royal College of Music, Magdalen College Oxford under Bernard Rose, and later with Robert Saxton.

In 1988 he studied at Rome’s Accademia Santa Cecilia with Franco Donatoni, and at the Tanglewood Summer Music School, where he was Benjamin Britten Fellow in Composition, working with Oliver Knussen and Hans Werner Henze.

Portsmouth Cathedral Choir

The Cathedral Choir is made up of twenty-four boy choristers and fourteen gentlemen (made up of seven lay-clerks and up to seven choral scholars) who contribute to the pattern of daily cathedral worship. The choristers rehearse on weekday mornings at 8.00am before a normal school day in preparation for the week’s music. In any normal week the Cathedral Choir sings for at least 5 services.

Established in 2009 to release choral, vocal and keyboard music, Convivium Records provides opportunities for both professional and amateur artists to produce pro-grade recording productions of classical and contemporary music.

Convivium Records is seeking new artists in order to expand its growing catalogue. We can assist with the recording and production of a new project by any ensemble from the UK or abroad. Demo recordings and/or finished CDs should accompany proposals. (Please contact us for details)
