Cellist Lionel Handy specialises in the music of his native Britain, and his solo CD portfolio includes newly commissioned works and several other premiere recordings. An important educator, he is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music where he was a professor for over forty years. Lionel plays on a cello by Fendt, circa 1820.
