About Convivium Records
A creative, quality-led approach to recording
About Us
Convivium Records (est. 2009) is committed to working with exceptional artists and composers to record and share their music. It recognises that a great recording project needs to establish a balance between artistic aspirations and commercial expectations. Whilst the majority of its projects result in commercial release, the label also takes on private projects for schools, charities and other institutions.
Convivium Records involves musicians and composers in all decisions relating to their projects, from initial discussions about a new album, to recording, distribution, promotion and marketing. The Label’s ambition is to exceed the expectations of their clients by creating recordings that reflect their true potential. At the heart of Convivium Records is a dedicated team who work together to bring their specific areas of expertise to each project as required.
The label has worked with many world-class musicians and ensembles from across Europe and the USA. It has worked in partnership with music publishers, including Oxford University Press, Boosey & Hawkes, The Royal School of Church Music and Subito Music. The label’s current catalogue features contemporary composer discs by Margaret Rizza, Malcolm Archer, Carson Cooman, Dan Locklair, James Erber, György Orbán, Oliver Tarney, June Clark, David Price, Hugh Benham, John White and others.
