Tanya Houghton combines the harp, conducting, singing and teaching in her life as a professional musician in Northern Ireland. Trained in Cambridge, London and Paris, she has worked with top
level orchestras and choirs, featuring on recordings and broadcasts with groups including the BBC Singers, OAE, CBSO, Ulster Orchestra and the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge. She has always
enjoyed collaborative music making, thriving in the musical relationships of chamber music and song accompaniment. A passionate educator, she looks to pass the joy of music to the next generation,
sharing music that has enriched her life with others.
