Baritone Julian Empett is a graduate of King’s College London. He was a student of David Wilson-Johnson. Julian has performed widely as an oratorio soloist.

He was a Lay Vicar of Westminster Abbey from 2000-2022, singing as a soloist at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, and at the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton. He has recorded several significant solos with the Abbey Choir. Julian has also given song recitals. His wider career has included work with many of the leading professional choirs.
