Sir Edmund Fellowes (1870–1951) was an English clergyman, musicologist, and editor whose pioneering work was instrumental in reviving interest in Tudor and early Stuart music. Educated at Winchester College and Oriel College, Oxford, he served as a canon of St George’s Chapel, Windsor, while dedicating much of his career to scholarship and publishing. He is best known for editing and publishing authoritative modern editions of English madrigals, lute songs, and the music of composers such as William Byrd, Thomas Morley, and Orlando Gibbons, making this repertoire accessible to performers and scholars in the 20th century.
