Dr Kevin Bowyer studied with Christopher Bowers-Broadbent, David Sanger and Virginia Black. In a career spanning more than forty years, he has won five international first prizes for organ playing, gained a reputation for performing “impossible” music, played, taught and lectured throughout the world, and recorded well over a hundred commercial CDs. He has been organist to the University of Glasgow since 2005. He has recently rekindled the literary interests of his youth, and produced (so far) seven volumes of fiction.
