David Goymour (b.1946) has been singing for most of his life, starting as a church choirboy. Music has been a spare-time interest, dabbling with piano, guitar and recorder alongside singing. While pursuing a career as a journalist, he joined the School of Philosophy and Economic Science in his mid-twenties; his experiments in composition are a practical application of the philosophy.
