About this release

For a number of years, the RBC Chamber Choir has been an important part of Christmas festivities at Compton Verney in Warwickshire, giving annual and popular festive performances by candlelight in its beautiful Capability Brown chapel.

The concerts always feature a varied programme of carols and seasonal choral music both old and new, delighting its audiences both young and old to much acclaim.

This album presents some of the repertoire explored in those concerts over the last three years, performed with the choir’s trademark sensitivity, energy and panache.
